Hooray for Holidays! If we make it through the heat of Dog Days!
To beat the heat as much as we can, we have adjusted some volunteer hours to maximize the cool of mornings:
What are we busy doing during those hours? Mostly this week it will be watering, more garden bed cleanup and cover crop seed sowing. We have a few special projects that can be done around our posted volunteer hours, if you need some volunteer hours outside what we have planned. Just text 740-263-7484 or email us to inquire! Those types of volunteer jobs can always be done at your convenience and around your scheduling needs!
We Are On Market Hiatus Until Sep. 7
After our last Mini Market last week, we entered a brief break from market sales. We will return to the Mount Vernon Farmer's Market in a couple of weeks on Saturday September 7. This allows our team to have their holiday with their families AND gives our active gardens some time to catch up! We're busy preparing for the late summer into Fall transitions, prepping beds for things like onions & garlic!
