We’re celebrating by doing what we always do: cultivating connection, growing good food, teaching skills, and creating a space where folks of all ages can learn, heal, and get their hands in the soil.
Behind the scenes, though?Nonprofits like ours are getting squeezed. Public funding streams we’ve relied on for years keep shrinking, and at the same time, the cost of everything—from garden tools to insurance to the humble roll of compostable trash bags—has gone up. We know you’re feeling it too.
But Community Roots has always been powered by people who care more about growing a better world than watching challenges pile up.
