The results are in!

Well, folks!

We have officially finished our 30-day fundraising campaign with our partners through the Seed Money organization and the results are in! We were able to qualify for one of the mini-challenge grants hosted through this campaign, and our organization was able to receive an additional $300! The team here at Community Roots was absolutely speechless when the final results came in. Thanks to all of your support through sharing our message to helping contribute through financial donations, we were able to raise $2,000 (plus an additional $300 from the challenge grant) to help improve our garden here in Mount Vernon!

Community Roots is excited to be able to share with everyone all of the amazing opportunities that have become available to us through the help from everyone this last month! The garden will be able to gain access to better tools, and equipment, and be able to rehabilitate some of the original infrastructures from when our location was Glass Garden Greenhouse. We are looking forward to these projects and keeping everyone updated through our social media and newsletters! Be sure to follow and subscribe to us, so we can keep in touch and update you with all of the growth that goes on at Community Roots!

Thank you to all of our funders!!

Before we release the final stats, we would like to take a moment to thank all 24 of our financial donors that helped surpass our initial goal 3 times over!

The Final Results!

Community Roots placed 57th out of the 587 different projects that also partnered with Seed Money! Thanks to the help from all of you, due to our campaign performing well throughout the 30 days, we were able to qualify for an additional $300 as part of their challenge grant. We were able to raise a total of $2,300 with everyone's help throughout this challenge! Some of the best progress we were able to make was throughout the last week of this campaign. In 7 days Community Roots and the help of all of our supporters were able to raise and additional $745!

What a way to go into the new year! As we continue working on more projects and being able to grow our organization, this campaign has been a HUGE help getting us prepared and ready for warmer weather. Be sure to stay up to date with all the fun and exiting news we will hopefully be able to share in the upcoming months by subscribing to our monthly newsletter, and following our socials on Facebook and Instagram! We are looking forward to another fun-filled and busy year ahead and already planning our next Seed Money fundraising campaign for next year! Thanks again everyone for such a successful year. None of this is possible without YOU, our dedicated staff and board, and most importantly our amazing network of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please feel free to reach out to us through email or on our website!
