Aldrin v. Savannah varieties

Pictured above is our Aldrin variety on the left, Savannah on the right, harvested for the August 13 Mount Vernon Farmer's Market this past Saturday.

This is the inverse of how the plants started and it's starting to look like the varieties may have similar yields, but different timing of peak production, with Aldrin kicking in later in the season. We'll see!!

In review, here's last week's we pulled for the 8/6 market when the varieties were more similar in bean production.

Again the Aldrin beans are on the left.
