This year was our biggest celebration yet of Farm to School month. We pulled back from the Farmer's Market to produce as much microgreens as possible to the Food Service Manager of Mount Vernon City Schools.
He was able to combine them with other locally sourced greens to feature in the salad bar. We heard it was delicious!
We also had MV high school students complete their National Honor Society service hours during lunch time, promoting Farm to School programs and passing out information.
