This week we learned we were granted our full ask through the Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County's Youth Philanthropy Initiative!
These funds will begin our farm-to-cafeteria project with the Mount Vernon High School and allow for some extra niceties including heat and light sources to practice season extension techniques, as well as commercial grade growing media, which help reduce weeds and other pests.
