Thursday Nights at Happy Street Brü Werks: From Market to Picnic

ree

What started as a simple farmers market has turned into something so much more—a Thursday night ritual of food, fellowship, and fine craft beer.

Every week, the market spills into the brewery, and the tables transform into picnic spreads. Instead of just grabbing bread and heading home, folks linger. They pull out their knives, slice into blocks of sharp cheddar, crack open jars of homemade dips, and share bites across the table like old friends.

An adorable trend has emerged: people have started bringing their own pairings for our breads. One person shows up with a wedge of cheese, another with olive oil and herbs. The tables look less like a brewery taproom and more like a neighborhood potluck—laid-back, welcoming, and full of flavor.

Of course, many also take the easy route and grab our sample recipes to go along with their loaves. Last night’s hit? A Ratatouille Smash—summer vegetables smashed into a savory spread using the same herbs we sell for inspiration! Perfect for tearing bread and scooping. Add a pint of craft beer (dark and roasty, or crisp and citrusy, depending on your vibe), and you’ve got yourself dinner.

The brewery hums with music, conversation, artwork, and laughter, while the market tents outside glow yellow under string lights. It’s the best of both worlds: fresh, local food and brews made with care, shared around a table where everyone’s welcome.
