MVHS Farm to School Project

We are working with the Mount Vernon High School, using the high school's greenhouse to grow fresh local produce for the kitchen.

We currently propagate microgreens, herbs, and vegetables for the Mount Vernon High School kitchen, while offering a horticultural classroom setting for teachers and students. As of 2019-2020 school year, regular watering maintenance is conducted in partnership with the MVHS Transitions U classroom.

Updates are posted on Knox County Gardening & Local Foods page.

If you are a teacher or student interested in working with us we would love to see how we can connect you to the project!
